On Friday 18th March, Year 6 had 'India day' to share their topic learning with parents. During the morning, we learned Hindi words and phrases, sketched the Taj Mahal and played Indian games. In the afternoon, the parents were amazed at our Jai Ho dance routine which the children performed extremely professionally. We the shared a curry with samosas, bhajis and naan bread. Many thanks to Miss Linnane's mum for cooking all the food and to the staff who helped to serve hundreds of people! We had such a brilliant day and it was a fantastic way of ending our India topic.
