5AC investigated how the surface area of a parachute effected how quickly it fell from a specific height. We noticed that the larger parachutes (with the biggest surface area) fell slower than the smallest parachutes. We worked out that the bigger parachute created more air resistance, so it slowed down

Year 5 have really enjoyed the space theme in dance this half term and we are so pleased with the final result. The children have worked incredibly hard to learn a routine to 'Men in Black' and include some of their own freestyle moves. On Tuesday, we were invited to St Luke's to use their dance hall and have their performance filmed and edited to create this brilliant video. Well done Year 5!
