Dolphins Out of School Club

Picture
Where are we and what do we do?

Dolphins Out of School Club provides wrap around care for children aged 4-12 years. We are located on the school grounds in our own purpose built building. We are happy to accept children who do not attend Pinhoe School.

We provide the following sessions:

During each session healthy snacks and drinks are provided. (Please provide a packed lunch for holiday club).

What is like for my child at Dolphins?

While at Dolphins the children have the choice over their activities, the staff are here to support and extend the children’s choices, this includes outside play, as we are able to allow free flow play between indoors and outdoors. Current favourite activities include den making (indoors and outdoors), loose parts play and cooking.  We usually cook at least once a week (during holiday club we cook daily for our afternoon snack).

Dolphins are very proud at how much involvement the children have in the running of the club. Children always participate in staff recruitment, we have regular kids committee meetings where they tell us what they would like to do or change about the club. More recently, the children have been allocated a monthly budget that they can spend on new toys, resources or activities.

If you are interested in booking a place for your child, you can pop in and see us for an informal chat or contact us in the following ways:
