To launch our new topic of Egyptians with a bang we worked together as teams to Mummify 2 of our team! Look at what an amazing job the teams did with only 5 minutes!!
During Tracker Time, Year 4 created headbands made from living things. Their creations were beautiful and the children were very proud of their head wear. We even had some earring made!
4MC are feeling very lucky to have such a talented musician in our class! Oliver performed this at the music extravaganza and we were all blown away with his super drumming! Oliver also performed this to the class and we were all so impressed by his skills, even if it was very noisy indeed!
Year 4 had the most fantastic day at Paignton zoo on such a glorious day! The children were so excited and loved seeing so many different animals as well learning about teeth and asking some very interesting and creative questions. The sun shone all day long and we particularly enjoyed having our ice-cream in the park surrounded by peacocks and tigers.
The children were brilliant and showed off our School with their behaviour and fantastic attitude. We were very proud of each and every one of them.
Thank you so much to our great parent helpers- your help is hugely appreicated.
We hope you enjoy our photos of our wonderful day!
Today children in 4MC really enjoyed visiting the ark- we loved seeing the chickens rolling in the grass having a dust bath! We all enjoyed stroking the chickens and watching them play in the sun. Children even started linking their literacy topic of persuasive writing by hoping they could persuade their parents to let them have a chicken!! (sorry...)
In Tracker Time Year 4 children have been learning all about Spain. Linked to this, in dance we have been exploring bull fighting. Children have really enjoyed being both the Matador and the bull and enjoyed learning new dance techniques. Have a look at the photos- can you spot who is the bull and who is the Matador?
